A gentle beginning

A moment to breathe,
be present and turn inward

The workshop begins gently, with an invitation to slow down, breathe and enter a creative space with calm and presence.

This is a moment to set the day aside, soften and prepare your heart, hands and attention for an inspiring, connecting creative process.

Sometimes, creating begins with one quiet moment
of breathing and intention.

The meaning behind the mandala

A language of centre, balance, harmony and connection

Across cultures and throughout history, mandalas have symbolised inner order, wholeness, cycles and connection between different parts of life.

They invite us to experience beauty, calm, concentration and attentive listening, discovering depth through shape and centre, within ourselves and in our surroundings.

In numerology and various traditions, the number 6 is associated with harmony, balance, beauty, the heart, home and the connection between spirit and matter.

The repetition of sixfold shapes in a mandala can create a sense of centre, order and softness, connecting an inner experience with its visual expression.
