Art Therapy

A gentle, safe and creative space for emotional expression and connection with yourself

It can be hard to put what we feel into words. Through colour, shape, materials and imagery, feelings may begin to open up and become clearer.
For children, teenagers and adults.

Who it is for

This approach may be right for you

When words are hard to find

When something inside feels complex and words do not come easily.

When emotions feel overwhelming

When your heart or mind feels full and you need space to breathe and process.

When something feels stuck

When something within you is asking for movement, but the way forward is not yet clear.

When you need a safe space

A gentle, personal space where you can explore what comes up without judgement and at your own pace.

When you want to reconnect with yourself

Creativity, colour and materials can offer a gentle way to explore feelings, sensations and your inner world.

For children, teenagers and adults

The process is adapted to the age, needs and personal pace of each person.

When words are hard to find

Sometimes what we feel inside needs a different way to be expressed

Feelings can remain unspoken, thoughts may go round in circles, and the body may carry tension, confusion or overwhelm.
In the busyness of life, it can be hard to pause and listen to what is happening within. Art therapy offers a gentle way to explore your inner world, without pressure to explain or know exactly where to begin.

What may change

What can unfold through the process?

The process does not erase difficulties, but it may help you relate to yourself with greater gentleness, clarity and emotional balance.

Inner clarity

Understand what is happening within, with space for uncertainty and discovery.

Emotional relief

Make room for what needs to be expressed and approach emotions gently.

Connection with yourself

Feel closer to your feelings, needs and personal voice.

Movement where things felt stuck

At your own pace, something within may begin to move, take shape and open up.

Why art therapy?

Some experiences need more than words. Sometimes the hand can express what the heart has yet to put into language.
Through colour, materials, imagery and creativity, you can make space for your inner world with gentleness and curiosity, at a pace that suits you.

What does the process look like?

Each process is shaped around your age, needs and pace. Sessions offer a safe, supportive space to express, explore and process what emerges through creativity, conversation and inner listening.

01

Getting to know you and creating a safe space

We begin by pausing, listening and getting to know your pace, needs and inner world.

02

Working with creative materials

Colour, materials, imagery and creative work offer ways to express what may be difficult to put into words.

03

Exploring what emerges

The creative work offers a gentle, curious and accepting way to explore feelings, sensations and inner experiences.

04

Processing at your own pace

The process is sensitive and personal, with time to explore at your own pace rather than rush towards a particular outcome.
